Day 1: Guatemala City / Antigua
In the morning depart Guatemala City in the direction of Antigua for a sightseeing tour of this colonial-style city, visiting the most interesting sites: churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial buildings. Overnight accommodations in Antigua.
Day 2: Lake Atitlan / Iximche
After breakfast, head off to Lake Atitlan, making a brief stop at the Archaeological Site of Iximche for a visit. Overnight accommodations will be provided in Panajachel.
Day 3: Santiago Atitlan / Quetzaltenango
Join the launch excursion to the picturesque lakeside village of Santiago Atitlan. In the afternoon, continue to Quetzaltenango for overnight accommodations.
Day 4: San Francisco El Alto / Church of San Andres Xecul / Valley of Almolonga
Visit the charming outdoor animal market of San Francisco El Alto, the Church of San Andres Xecul and the striking Valley of Almolonga. Overnight accommodations in Huehuetenango.
Day 5: Todos Santos Cuchumatanes / Chichicastenango
In the morning visit the scenic open-air market of Todos Santos Cuchumatanes. In the afternoon continue to Chichicastenango for overnight accommodations.
Day 6: Chichicastenango / Church of Santo Tomas / Guatemala City
When the sun is up visit the colorful uncovered market of Chichicastenango and the Church of Santo Tomas. After lunch continue back to Guatemala City.
