Itinerary Summary:

Day 1: Cayo District

Arrive in Belize and travel into the rainforest to your remote lodge - if you have time and energy you can stop to visit the famous Belize City Zoo.

Day 2: Caracol Mayan Ruins

Travel through the scenic Mountain Pine Ridge National Park on your way to this famous Mayan site at Caracol and stop to visit the Rio Frio Caves and Pools.

Day 3: Cave Adventure

Enjoy an adventurous cave/river trip to see ancient Mayan ritual sites where artifacts remain. Choose between Barton Creek where you canoe through the cave or Actun Tunichmal for a more strenuous & adventurous trip with a surprise at the end!

Day 4: Transfer Deeper into the Rainforest

Transfer by private propeller plane deep into the Belizean Rainforest to the famous lodge at Chan Chich. Spend the rest of the day exploring this vast 250,000 acre protected area.

Day 5: Chan Chich Nature Activities

With all activities prepaid you can explore & bird watch as much as you like, the way you like - hiking, driving, horseback riding, or even in a golf cart!

Day 6: Transfer to Paradise Island

Fly direct from Chan Chich to the Island of Ambergris Caye by private charter and to your beautiful Caribbean hotel, Victoria House. Renowned for its style, service and cuisine you can be well assured of a relaxing evening as you settle in.

Day 7: Beach Time

Enjoy the day relaxing on the beach: concentrate on your tan or arrange a snorkel trip, diving excursion, fishing or windsurfing trip etc.

Day 8: Snorkel with Reef Sharks & Rays

Take a half-day guided tour to the Hol Chan Marine reserve and Shark Ray Alley to swim with sharks and rays!

Day 9: Beach Time

Another day to concentrate on the tan or arrange a tour - finish the day with a sailing tour of the Rum Punch!
